Testimonial and Fodder Facts

Is your feed dead or alive?

Horses were never meant to eat dry dead feeds? Have you ever wondered what horses use to eat before we forced them to eat processed unnatural feeds?
The answer is all natural living grasses the types you find in the wild, the type the wild mustangs live on and thrive on. You don't see any feed mills or vets in the wild, so how is it that mustangs survive and thrive? As humans, we are told to eat fresh fruits and veggies, we know how beneficial and nutritious sprouts are for our health and wellbeing. This is why fodder solutions was born! It allows horse owners to feed an all natural feed that is highly nutritious and cost effective. You can feed a horse from less than a $1/day! A fodder solutions system is a controlled environment sprouting unit. The seed is placed onto growing trays each day from one end of the system and the fresh green highly nutritious feed is harvested from the other end. Different sizes are available, depending on your needs. The sprouted fodder is packed with nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes, all naturally balanced to be highly nutritious. The worry of feed related problems such as colic, founder, and laminitis are a thing of the past! The fodder is one of the safest, most cost effective feeds that you will ever feed.

A well respected horseman said of fodder, " My Clydesdales horses pull the Coach tour 15 to 20 miles a day. The coach weighs 1.6 tons. The horses are fed a biscuit of barley fodder morning and at night and some grass hay. No other feeds or supplements are used. They are in perfect condition. There is heavy bitumen work and galloping involved. The horses have no shin soreness and there hoof condition is excellent due to the feed. No other feed comes close to the fodder from a "fodder solutions" system. My horses are healthy and I am saving a fortune in feed cost."

We have been feeding our own animals "fodder" for 6 weeks now and they love it!!!

This calf was orphaned. We almost lost him from scours.
We started him on fodder and he is thriving.

AG Weekly Online -- Twin Falls, Idaho: "Oxnard, Calif. - Award winning Australian technology which produces nutritious green feed for livestock in just six days is making its debut in the United States.

Fodder Solutions, www.foddersolutions.net, has sold more than 300 climate controlled growing chambers to farmers across Australia, enabling them to transform grain seed and water into highly palatable feed harvested fresh daily, regardless of seasonal conditions.

All classes of livestock love the densely matted sprouts which they devour roots and all with no waste. Systems are being used to feed beef and dairy cattle, horses, sheep, goats, free range pigs and even rabbits.

Animals on a spout diet gain condition and are healthier, with enhanced breeding performance reported.

Now the system is being introduced to the US market with a manufacturing facility established at Oxnard near Los Angeles in California.

A Fodder Solutions principle and co-inventor of the system Terry Colless oversaw the American market expansion with a launch and demonstration at the recent US Agricultural Media Summit in Fort Worth, Texas. The Summit was held in conjunction with the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists World Congress.

Colless says things have moved quickly since an overwhelming level of interest was received at the World Agricultural Expo in Tulare, California, in February.

“From the number of inquiries we received, there is no doubt US farmers will be extremely receptive to our system of growing low cost green feed using very little water,” Colless says.

“We will be manufacturing units in a range of sizes from 12 to 72 trays capable of producing 90lbs to 520lbs of sprouts daily.'
